Because the issue was not a manufacturing issue, they would have to replace the broken housing at their expense. We advised the installer of these facts and denied the claim and voided the warranty. We sent a 3rd party inspector to the installer for inspection. After that point, the installed contacted us to let us know the back. After some initial diagnosis, a gasket was sent to be replaced at the request of the installer and based on their diagnosis. At that point the claim of a leak was called in. The transmission was installed and ran for 700 miles. We consider this matter closed and no more monetary credits are due. the nature of the role presents an increased risk of disease transmission. When the bill was sent from the shop, we noticed that the invoice from the shop had stated that other sensors had been replaced and those sensors would have caused the issues the customer was having with the transmission and may have been the cause of the transmission replacement back in April in the first place. After we received the parts back, we paid the claim as stated in the warranty documents. The shop damaged those parts instead of notifying us that there was an issue until they couldn't make it work. Were found to be incorrect after the fact. This location is in Tarrant County and the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX. The 2nd unit had the same complaint as the 1st. The customer had an issue with the 1st transmission that was sold back in early April 2017. The history behind this issue is not 100% accurate.
